No, none of our servers are managed so you must secure your server yourself. Here are the definitions of managed and unmanaged servers, we only offer unmanaged servers but there are many companies that offer management of your server for a low cost.

Managed – Includes medium level of management, monitoring, updates, and a limited amount of support. Customers may perform specific tasks.

This varies depending on how many c-class IPs you have chosen, if you chose a Dedicated server or a VPS,how many countries, and when you submit your query. Typically, you can expect to have a VPS to be set-up within 1-3 business days after your order and a Dedicated Server can take from 1-3 weeks if we do not have the server in stock, if it is in stock then 1-5 business days.

There is a function in cPanel called cPhulk that will prevent the account from being hacked by brute force (trying different passwords). This function will disable an account for some time if you type the wrong password too many times. This can be disabled and you don't have to worry about locking your self out. This also means a less secure server and you have to choose what is most important to you.
